The sky is a vast, deep blue dome above you. To the ancients it appeared bronzed and metallic; the sea was wine-dark, yet today it is a clear, piercing blue. Science gives a partial explanation, but it is not merely Rayleigh scattering of shorter wavelengths. The colour is a visible hunger stone — a global marker of the current mechanical state of the living elastic plenum.
When we stand on the ground and look upward, we are viewing the action from the centre. The sky appears as the inner surface of a great dome, exactly as the fabric of a hot air balloon would look from the centre, or perhaps you can see it as a parachute canopy stretching over your head. Simple Explanation
The sky is blue because the plenum (formerly known mysteriously as aether but now mechanistically confirmed) is currently dominated by State B — compressive spherical storage and high ring-tension. In this state, the collective geometry of countless Pi Tensor primitives – pixels of light – across the atmosphere preferentially scatters short blue wavelengths. The ancient bronzed skies reflected a more balanced condition. Today’s deep blue sky signals stronger, more organised compressive forces — a global hunger stone.
Mechanical Engineering Explanation with Current Data
At every fixed Dot Point on the Reynolds Surface, intense compressive work generates heat with nowhere to escape. A transient glassy insulating layer forms, of infinite thiness, the glass is created absolutely flat, but is subject to spherical force bending so shatters in the instant it is created along 8-kite lines, and leaves carbon as the permanent structural mass (the slag of the process).
When the global balance tips toward State B dominance, these glassy domains become more coherent and extensive. The resulting collective ring-tension preferentially scatters shorter wavelengths, producing the deep blue sky.
