The Ethmoid as Seat of Consciousness
An introductory lecture in Rest Time Physics

This morning the science of consciousness arrived in a conversation in the woods. A musician I know, a young father walking his dog, stopped to say he was changing his job. The job is audiology: assessing hearing, fitting aids, and understanding the mechanics of the ear. I told him the Rest Time reading, and the connection came to me at once. Hearing is not a tube with a nerve at the end of it. Hearing is a surface. The canal holds fluid. The surface of that fluid carries the vibration. That surface is the direct connection to consciousness.
From the surface of hearing the path runs to the pineal. The pineal is the gyroscope block.
The force model
The gyroscope lock of the Earth, read as the centre of the universe, is expressed from the centre out to a boundary layer where the transform is complete. Picture the cosmos as a sphere and the Earth at the centre. There is a surface across that centre. The Earth is a tiny speck of dust floating on that surface. The speck twists. The twist pulls the surface and cavitates it. The surface distorts, and the speck sinks. That sink is the gravitational bending of the water we float on. The twist has a boundary limit. That limit is the firmament above us. We live in the centre of the cavitation.
The cavitation is either a firmament in State A, or the State B maintenance operator we are in now: a sphere around us. It is the specific gravity of the twisting speck on the surface of an infinite ocean that exists at its own centre. Water behaves as the magic porridge pot. It does not invent itself. It brings water in from the outside ocean, to the centre, and adds it back to the centre again. The journey of that twist works itself out from the centre of the planet to the place where consciousness experiences itself, out to the cosmic microwave background, where the system closes as topologically flat from a scale perspective. It has grown large enough that it reads as flat, and so it closes.
It closes at the centre, where two equals σ in metres per second squared, held at 1.999 recurring. Two plus two is not four. It is 3.999 recurring. You cannot finish the close. The system must stay open. You close it mechanically, then put it back together. That mechanical closure is the experience of consciousness read from audiology.
The gyroscope in the head
The surface of the water in the canal connects to the pineal. The pineal is the gyroscope. The grit at the centre of the planet is experienced in the mind as balance. That is why we walk perpendicular to the surface. We stretch. The gyroscope lock is a stretch. See a sphere, with the experiencer in the centre. The little lozenge of flesh that is there now is the deflated state. State B is deflated. State A inflates. The sphere stands on a ray of light, as thin as you like to imagine it, stretched. It stands because it differentiates. Differentiated and undifferentiated strands both exist. It knows where it is, and it knows where it is going, because it can experience what is happening at its feet.
So the force model is a ray of light with a force sphere on top, a gyroscope lock sitting in the surface, balanced.
The same surface is replicated by the stretch. The cosmological surface is now at eye level, pineal level, the centre of the head. That is the force. It does not stop. It is rotation. Twisting force creates the mass and the braking forces. The planets are the viscous brake. The Sun is the first breaker going around us; the planets go around the Sun as a local kinetic brake, slowing what is on the surface. We are witnessing the same effect as the dust at the centre. Gravitational ripples run out. In those ripples there is a ring-tension zone. The force of the planet is the orbit around us. What we see is the tiny dot, the ring tension, σ in m/s², not closing. We see the effect of it not closing, in light.
The ethmoid
The force cannot stop. Experience is somewhere else. Here lies the ethmoid sinus, and the sinus system with it. Medical science will tell you what the sinuses do for air and mucus. It does not tell you why the place is there. On this reading it is the experiencer.
The force sphere of the gyroscope at the centre of the head is replicated in the ethmoid, in front of the pineal. Pineal there, ethmoid here. Across the plate between them there is a filigree disc made of blood vessels. That disc is the seat of consciousness. It sits inside its own sphere in the skull: a solid membrane, a solid sphere, made for the place where the ethmoid sinus exists, so that the force has a surface to land on. The skull does not exactly match that sphere at present. State B, and the way we are born, distorts it. The space is still there for the place to be a perfect sphere.
Observation in nature confirms the break. When we are knocked unconscious, the link between the pineal and the experience in the ethmoid is broken. The surface being replicated on the filigree disc — the gyroscope surface, the cosmological surface, copied here — is easily broken. Unconscious. It settles, and consciousness returns. That is the observation this system is built to read.
Emotion, mucus, music
The ethmoid sinus is connected to the other sinuses. The key one for this lecture is the eye: vision, mucus, and the tears of emotion. Tears of emotion are not the tears of grit in the eye. Emotion is added. Mucus is added. Surfactant is added to the water sitting on the experience. You add emotion through vision, through crying, through tears of emotion and of joy.
Hearing follows the same copy. Vibration set into the pineal force-sphere is replicated on the ethmoid sphere. Music, particularly soothing and beautiful music, is the clean case. If you reach a heightened emotion through music, you are adding experience to the sound. It is a feedback loop. If you only listen, and if you really hear it in the body, you receive the same effect the musician is trying to give. That is what he is experiencing in his body. He offers it to an appreciative audience. You bring the surface to it.
That is the science of consciousness as experience. Not a story laid over the anatomy. A surface, copied.

The science of consciousness requires a self-policed excellence. You are a sovereign human being. The morality that governs the work is the morality of Christ, taken as brother and moral guardian: choose love, and you are given love.
