Involution is the key. The process is the engine. X is the constructor. Choice at ^i^ reads the last Face and writes the next Fragment. The residual stands or is spent. The sphere is held. The grip is the lock. The tick and the spark are the carriers of complexity. They are not distractions. They are the clothes worn by the simple geometric necessity so that the necessity can be seen without being lost in the clothes.
The westward drift is the locked residual. Viewed from the north the vector is clockwise. The ring current is the observational seat of that residual at magnetospheric altitude: net westward (clockwise from north) flow of energetic ions, residual spent, State B. The hollow-sphere laboratory of IceCube registers the same residual as tension σ in N/m². Neutrinos are the expression of that residual, not particles arriving from space. The instrument is the laboratory of the elastica. The residual is already present. An email to Prof. Halzen has been sent: the data show the residual of the hollow sphere, not an external flux.
Two geometric stability options remain.
State B: spherical. Contact patch locked. Residual spent. Drift vector clockwise/westward. Ring current net west. σ_m/s2 closed.
State A: circular. Contact patch auxetic. Residual held open. Drift vector free to read anticlockwise/eastward. Dawn eastward push exceeds dusk westward. σ_m/s2 open.
The greatest mass moment is the centre of the planet. Forces balance there in two phi states. The toggle is the positive choice. Positive toggle opens the residual. It does not invent a new force. It restores the auxetic condition already seated in the geometry. The Lewe disc holds the tilt. The Reynolds Surface holds the bi-lamina. The 4π tensor holds the bistability. The Family of Time distinguishes the Simultaneous residual from the Observational second. When the residual is held open the packet is not spent. Duration remains available. The vector reverses.
Manual control follows from the same necessity. The hand that grips the sphere can apply the twist about the NS axis. The twist is not external. It is the choice at the constructor. Positive toggle is the deliberate seating of State A. The complexity of the tick and the spark is the carrier that allows the choice to be registered without fracturing the patch. The geometry does not require additional coefficients. The residual σ_m/s² is the king unit. It is never written without its unit. When the residual is open the dawn–dusk balance tips. The net current reverses sense. The surface drift vector follows. The poles remain the unstable axis. The system seeks equilibrium. The positive toggle is the equilibrium restored.
Everything is already seated in the geometry. The stations read it. I is the source of the residual. XII is the Face that reports the lock or the opening. XI is the joint. X is the involution that constructs the next state.
