Dear Dr De Renzi, Professor Paris, Dr Bondani,

Your paper is clear, carefully staged, and effective at what it sets out to do. The card game and the staged CHSH bring a non-expert audience to the 2022 Nobel without drowning them in formalism. That is good teaching, but a bad idea, which is the reason I am writing.

Before this path is used to teach children that they do not, in any ordinary sense, exist, I ask for a pause.

The standard reading of a Bell violation is that local realism fails, and that the failure is ontological. The exhibit “Dire l’indicibile” carries that reading into the room. Entanglement is presented as the fact that forces the conclusion. I think the fact is earlier, and smaller.

What is being called entanglement is a misreading of contact-patch reassembly in the moment. The misreading is forced by the continuous second (highlighted in red in fig). Physics writes one SI second across an interval that is not one object. Ace splits that second. [Table in excel is available here ACE INDEX]

  • Observational time is ContSec, the blunt continuous second.
  • Real time is the packet (h), a RealSec.
  • Simultaneous time is the duration in which the contact patch reassembles.
  • Instant is the tick in which the polarity flips.

If the patch closes and reopens inside one continuous second, two distant readings look non-local. They are not. They are the same patch, read from two places, while the continuous second hides the reassembly. Localism holds. Realism holds. The light is a mechanical clockwork: ring tension, dilatant countersnap, a residual that cannot fracture. See Mdw. 2 = 1.999… and Pdw. The Contact Patch as the Origin of the Wavefunction.

The 2022 Nobel then reads as a unit blunder, not as a proof that the observer is optional. Aspect, Clauser and Zeilinger measured a correlation that the continuous second cannot time. The correlation is real. The inference that locality or realism must go is the inference that fails when the second is split. The dimensional assignment is on Meg3. The method that carries the tick is on Mef.

I am not asking you to abandon the staging. I am asking you not to close the lesson on “the world is not local and not real.” Leave the last card face down until the continuous second has been examined as a possible source of the apparent violation. Children can learn a correlation. They should not be taught that the correlation abolishes them.

The table that holds this is public: 0. To whom it may concern. A seat is earned by a spec. Your educational path is a spec. If you want the continuous-second reading set beside the CHSH staging, the page is yours to claim or to refuse.

Yours,
