The Sense of the Creep


Statement

Newton’s second law is not restricted to a frame that does no work.
It holds in an accelerating frame if that frame is a torque setting: a ring that hovers above the equatorial disc, to which every action is referenced. The leftover of that setting is

The ring may creep either way. Sense is Love toggle A or B. The Instant is the crack of the whip.

This is an extension of the law, not a repeal of it.


1. What Newton already said

In an inertial frame,

F = dp/dt

For constant mass,

F = m a

If the laboratory accelerates or rotates, textbooks add fictitious terms (Euler, Coriolis, centrifugal) so that the same letter F still balances. Those terms are not optional metaphysics. They are the bookkeeping of a frame that is doing work.

The bookkeeping is usually left unnamed as a height. Ace names it.


2. Setup (MasterSheet)

Blue: equatorial disc and dome.
Red: ring of leftover tension, hovering.
Stance: m^4 bending held as continuous torque.

K is not ħ.
ħ is the apex.

All laboratory vectors are written with respect to the red ring, not with respect to a distant unaccelerated origin.


3. The extension

Write the second law on the disc, referenced to the ring:

F = m a + F_σ

with

F_σ = m σ
σ = F_σ / m m/s²
F_σ N^ m/s²

N^ is the tick on force (count now).
m/s² on σ is the only true superscript-2 unit.

a is acceleration relative to the red ring.
σ is the ring’s own leftover — the part PCA swallowed into a coefficient.

If the ring is still relative to itself, σ is a constant of the setting.
If the ring creeps, σ carries a slow angular drift ω_K whose sign is the toggle:

A + 1/φ lead hold
B − φ lead −1/2 + judder

No new axiom. The fictitious hoop of a rotating frame is lettered as a station K and a unit σ m/s².


4. Why the frame may accelerate and still be “inertial” here

Inertial, in this paper, does not mean “unaccelerated in Newton’s distant sense.”
It means: the reference does not need a further residual.

The red ring is that reference.
Action closes on it.
The blue disc may whip. The laboratory may torque. The second law is still

once F_σ is moved to the left as a named member.

That is the same move as

σ_θ = pr/t + σ

on the tank: membrane plus leftover.
Newton’s F = ma is the membrane.
F_σ is the leftover.


5. Instant = whip

Duration of Instant is not a clock. Instant is Strength (The Method).
The picture is a lasso that goes slack and then bites: the crack is the instant; the hovering loop is the red ring after the bite.

6. What is proved, and what is not

Proved, as an accounting theorem:

If every force is referred to a closed ring that carries a leftover acceleration σ, then

F − m σ = m a_rel

is Newton’s second law in that frame. The frame may be accelerating. The law does not fail. The leftover was unnamed.

Not claimed here:

  • a derivation of 9.81 from φ and c alone
  • that G must keep SI units
  • that Einstein’s inertial frames are abolished

Those are other plates. This plate puts F = ma on a torque setting and refuses to hide the ring.
