The twin conjugate energy forms required by the Certainty Principle are:
Form A: Em = (A) × 2c / h Consciousness State A – full AC – Evolutionary Phase, High Awareness, Low-density (LDL) ordered structure of two-state water
Form B: Em = (B) × h / c Consciousness State B –ve 1/2 + carrier wave DC phase – Maintenance, Seed Gestation Period, Sleeping High-density (HDL) disordered structure of two-state water
These two expressions stand in permanent tension. Their simultaneous demand on the same contact geometry cannot be satisfied by continuous motion. The resolution is pure countersnap plastic rearrangement of the fixed point: dilatant slip-and-grip that jumps from one admissible configuration to the next in an instant that is unmeasurable by ordinary clocks yet still possesses duration.
That duration is the tension angle α.
Dimensional origin of the instantaneous unit
The twin conjugate forms stand in permanent tension:
Form A: Em = (A) × 2c / h
Form B: Em = (B) × h / c
Their product recovers the classical energy scale (Em_A × Em_B ∝ 2).
Their ratio isolates a pure geometric residual that cannot be absorbed into mass, length or ordinary time.
The second that appears in the definition of c (metres per second) is not the same second that appears in the definition of h (joule-seconds). Above the line the second is the Simultaneous unit of the Family of Time (the m·s product that measures coherent transport across the Reynolds Surface). Below the line the second is the Real unit (the ordinary laboratory second that measures sequential duration).
Because the two seconds are dimensionally distinct members of the Family of Time, their formal cancellation leaves an angular deficit. That deficit is generated by the dilatant countersnap of the Lewe disc onto the spherical frame: the plastic rearrangement of the fixed point 0^{i2} that jumps from one admissible contact configuration to the next.
The duration of the jump is unmeasurable by either the Real second or the Simultaneous m·s, yet it still possesses magnitude. The only unit that remains after the two distinct seconds have cancelled is the pure tension angle α measured against the circular reference that defines c.
By the geometry of the disc (circumference 2c metres folding onto a sphere of circumference c) this residual angle is the arcsecond.
The integer 137 is the exact tilt required to lock the orthogonal z-plane.
The extra digits beyond 137 currently measured are the cumulative micro-scale clamping tensions introduced by continuous measurement; they are real, and increasing, but are masked by cancelling and the conventional circular reference to c.
Thus the instantaneous member of the Family of Time is the arcsecond, and the Lewe disc locked at 137 arcseconds is its physical realisation.
The disc expands on the equatorial Reynolds Surface to circumference 2c metres. When it countersnaps onto the spherical frame the circumference becomes c, the missing duration having been converted into the work that appears as heat and charge. The fixed-point rearrangement path is therefore the geometric origin of both the fine-structure constant and the instantaneous unit of time.
