arXiv:2606.19757 by Himeka Matsuo et al. (18 June 2026) introduces a major new concept: the Graviton Floor.
This is genuine new physics with immediate experimental consequences for high-frequency gravitational wave detectors.

The Universe is filled with a cosmic photon background (radio to gamma rays). In the presence of magnetic fields — especially in blazar jets — photons convert into gravitons via the Gertsenshtein effect.
